Southcross Energy Partners LP, Dallas, has completed its acquisition of a natural gas gathering system in McMullen County, Tex.
The system consists of 8 miles of gathering pipelines within 2 miles of Southcross’s existing rich-gas pipeline network, servicing customers under acreage dedication contracts. The system was placed into service in 2010.
Southcross says production from the system will be connected as soon as possible to the company’s existing pipeline network, enabling that production to be processed at the company’s facilities.
Southcross last year completed its 15-MMcfd rich-gas lateral extending its McMullen County system farther into the Eagle Ford (OGJ Online, Oct. 11, 2013).
