DNO ASA, Oslo, has appointed Jeroen Regtien as chief operating officer based in Dubai, effective Jan. 1, 2015.
Regtien joins DNO from Royal Dutch Shell PLC, where he most recently served as country chairman and managing director for Shell Egypt. During 2008-11, Regtien served as vice-president for hydrocarbon recovery technologies, innovation research and development, based in the Netherlands.
Regtien also worked in Oman, Brunei, the US, and Australia during his nearly 30 years with Shell.
