Giesler joins Miller as chief executive

Carl F. Giesler Jr. has joined Miller Energy Resources Inc., Knoxville, Tenn., as chief executive officer, replacing Scott M. Boruff, who is now executive chairman.

Carl F. Giesler Jr. has joined Miller Energy Resources Inc., Knoxville, Tenn., as chief executive officer, replacing Scott M. Boruff, who is now executive chairman.

Giesler has been managing director of investments for Harbinger Group, responsible for oil and gas investments.

Miller Energy holds producing properties in the Cook Inlet of Alaska and in Tennessee.
