BG Group completes sale of CATS pipeline interest

BG Group has completed the sale of its 62.78% equity interest in the Central Area Transmission System (CATS) gas pipeline in the UK North Sea along with associated infrastructure to Antin Infrastructure Partners, Paris.

BG’s total proceeds from the transaction have risen to $961 million. The company’s initial report of the agreement indicated it was for total proceeds of as much as $954 million (OGJ Online, June 17, 2014).
