FMC Technologies Singapore Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of FMC Technologies Inc., Houston, has let a contract to Oceaneering International Inc. for the supply of umbilicals for the Jangkrik project in the Eni SPA-operated Muara Bakau production-sharing contract area offshore Indonesia.

The order is for super-duplex steel tube production control umbilicals totaling 31 miles that will be used to supply hydraulic and electrical power and chemical injection to the subsea wells in the field.

Product manufacturing will commence in the fourth quarter at the Oceaneering Umbilical Solutions facility in Rosyth, Scotland. Delivery is scheduled for second-quarter 2016.

Three wells drilled in 2010 confirmed more than 1.4 tcf of gas in place on Muara Bakau (OGJ Online, Dec. 16, 2010). Eni discovered another Kutei basin gas field on the permit a year later (OGJ Online, July 29, 2011).
