TransAtlantic reports senior management changes

TransAtlantic Petroleum Ltd., Dallas, reported that Ian J. Delahunty, president, will resign and be succeeded by Todd C. Dutton, president of Longfellow Energy LP, Dallas, since 2007.

In addition, James R. Huling, chief operating officer of Longfellow since May 2012, will be named TransAtlantic’s chief operating officer. All changes take effect May 27.

Dutton has 37 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry, focusing on exploration, acquisitions, and property evaluation. Huling has 30 years of experience in reservoir engineering, drilling and completion operations, and production optimization.

Delahunty plans to start his own oil and gas company, but will continue to be employed by TransAtlantic in an advisory capacity for a brief transition period.

Dutton and Huling will continue to have management responsibilities within Longfellow, which will be delineated in the coming months.
