Neste Oil Corp. has shuttered one of four production lines for repairs at its 205,000-b/d Porvoo, refinery in the Kilpilahti Industrial Area, about 20 miles east of Helsinki, Finland.
Line 4, which produces diesel, will be shut down for maintenance following an unexpected mechanical failure in one of the line's process units, Neste Oil said.
The company said it expects to complete repair work on the unit in about 5 weeks.
Impacts to diesel production and supply as a result of the maintenance closure were not disclosed.
