MARKET WATCH: Crude oil futures prices slide in week’s see-saw market

The New York Mercantile Exchange May crude oil contract price was down 20¢ on Apr. 10, closing at $103.40/bbl. The June contract fell 27¢ to $102.38/bbl.

The May natural gas contract gained 6.9¢ to a rounded $4.66/MMbtu. The Henry Hub cash price for gas was unavailable on Apr. 10.

Heating oil for May delivery decreased 1.5¢ to a rounded $2.64/gal. Reformulated gasoline stock for oxygenate blending for May delivery was virtually unchanged at a rounded $3.01/gal.

In London, the May ICE contract for Brent crude delivery declined 52¢, closing at $107.46/bbl. The June contract lost 43¢ to $107.52/bbl. The ICE gas oil contract for April was unchanged at $903.50/tonne.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries reported its basket of 12 benchmark crudes for Apr. 10 was $104.33/bbl, adding 11¢ compared with the previous trading session.
