MARKET WATCH: Crude oil futures end week higher

The New York Mercantile Exchange May crude oil contract rose 85¢ on Apr. 4, closing at $101.14/bbl. The June contract gained 83¢ to $100.46/bbl.

The May natural gas contract lost 3.1¢ to a rounded $4.44/MMbtu. The Henry Hub cash price for gas was unavailable on Apr. 4.

Heating oil for May delivery was virtually unchanged at a rounded $2.91/gal. Reformulated gasoline stock for oxygenate blending for May delivery increased 1.95¢ to a rounded $2.93/gal.

In London, the May ICE contract for Brent crude delivery gained 57¢, closing at $106.72/bbl. The June contract was up 54¢ to $106.63/bbl. The ICE gas oil contract for April jumped $12 to $893.50/tonne.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries reported its basket of 12 benchmark crudes was $103.12/bbl on Apr. 4, rising $1.55.
