Royale Energy Inc., San Diego, has completed the field acquisition of its planned seismic survey over the western block of its Alaska North Slope acreage.
The survey covered an area of more than 100 sq miles over a 33-day period.
Royale Energy’s 100,000 acres in Alaska are situated within the peak oil generating and volatiles windows of the Shublik and Lower Kingak shales (OGJ, Jan. 7, 2013, p. 52).
The data was acquired in cooperation with Rampart Energy Co. and was conducted by SAExploration Inc.
