ONGC Videsh names exploration director

ONGC Videsh Ltd. (OVL), the overseas arm of Oil & Natural Gas Corp. Ltd., has named Anil Bhandari as exploration director. In his role, Bhandari will manage overseas exploration assets and evaluate exploration opportunities, as well as spearhead the business development for new exploration and production assets acquisitions.

Bhandari joined ONGC in 1979. He has 34 years of experience in geosciences, management, and research and development. Before joining OVL, he led the operation in Sudan as executive director and country manager for ONGC Nile Ganga BV, Khartoum.
