Tesoro Corp., San Antonio, has let a long-term services and construction contract extensions to Aegion Corp. subsidiary Brinderson LP for work at Tesoro Refining & Marketing Co.’s California operations.

Over the term of the contracts, Brinderson will provide routine maintenance and repair services and perform small capital construction projects at Tesoro’s 363,000-b/d Los Angeles refining complex as well as at its 166,000-b/d Golden Eagle refinery at Martinez, Calif., according to Aegion.

Aegion expects the contracts to generate a total of $40 million in 2014 revenues, with $20 million of incremental revenue going to Brinderson, the company said.

Tesoro’s Los Angeles refining complex includes the 266,000-b/d Carson refinery—which the independent refiner purchased from BP PLC in June 2013 (OGJ Online, June 3, 2013; May 17, 2013)—and the adjacent 97,000-b/d Wilmington refinery.
