Heating oil for January delivery edged up less than a penny to settle at a rounded $3.06/gal on NYMEX. Reformulated gasoline stock for oxygenate blending for January delivery gained 1.42¢ to a rounded $2.73/gal.
The January natural gas contract on NYMEX was down 1.8¢, settling at a rounded $4.11/MMbtu. On the US spot market, the gas price at Henry Hub, La., was a rounded $4.14/MMbtu, a 16.3¢ rise.
In London, the January ICE contract for Brent crude oil claimed an additional 63¢, closing at $111.61/bbl. The February Brent contract rose 65¢ to $111.22/bbl. The ICE gas oil contract for December dropped $3 to settle at $940.75/tonne.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ basket of 12 benchmark crudes closed at $108/bbl on Dec. 6, declining 22¢.
