Morocco: Essaouira basin exploratory well spuds

Longreach Oil & Gas Ltd. has spudded its operated Koba-1 exploratory well on the Sidi Moktar license in Morocco’s Essaouira basin.

The planned 50-day well is projected to 2,700 m. The Koba prospect has targets in Lower Liassic and Upper Triassic clastics.

Interests are Longreach 50% and ONHYM and MPE 25% each carried.
