MARKET WATCH: Crude oil, gas futures prices end week flat

The New York Mercantile Exchange December crude contract edged up 8¢ on Nov. 15 to settle at $93.84/bbl. The January 2014 contract also gained 8¢, settling at $94.49/bbl.

Heating oil for December delivery gained less than a penny to settle at a rounded $2.94/gal on NYMEX. Reformulated gasoline stock for oxygenate blending for December delivery edged down 2.6¢ to a rounded $2.66/gal.

The December natural gas contract on NYMEX added 5.5¢ to settle at $3.66/MMbtu. On the US spot market, the gas price at Henry Hub, La., was a rounded $3.56/MMbtu, a 3.9¢ increase.

In London, the January ICE contract for Brent crude oil climbed 22¢, settling at $108.50/bbl. The December contract for ICE gas oil collected $2.50 to $911.25/tonne.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries reported its basket of 12 benchmark crudes was $105.24/bbl on Nov. 15, up 57¢ from the previous day.
