The New York Mercantile Exchange January crude contract lost 60¢ on Nov. 22, settling at $94.84/bbl. The February contract fell 54¢ to settle at $95.15/bbl.
Heating oil for December delivery edged up 3.46¢ to settle at a rounded $3.04/gal on NYMEX. Reformulated gasoline stock for oxygenate blending for December delivery edged down 1.77¢ to a rounded $2.73/gal.
The December natural gas contract on NYMEX gained 6.6¢, settling at a rounded $3.77/MMbtu. On the US spot market, the gas price at Henry Hub, La., was a rounded $3.78/MMbtu on Nov. 22, a 10.2¢ increase.
In London, the January ICE contract for Brent crude oil added 97¢, settling at $111.05/bbl. The ICE gas oil contract for December jumped $14.50 to $937.75/tonne.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ basket of 12 benchmark crudes rose $1.33 on Nov. 22 to settle at $106.73/bbl.
