Axion lets contract for Argentine coker

Axion Energy Argentina SA, a subsidiary of Bridas Corp., has let a construction-related contract to a unit of Foster Wheeler AG’s Global Engineering and Construction Group for a delayed coking unit at the 87,000-b/d Campana refinery in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.

The contract is for engineering and procurement services and is based on Foster Wheeler’s SYDEC delayed coking technology.

Neither the value of the contract nor a timetable for the project has been disclosed.
