TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Co., Houston, is to shoot a multiclient 3D seismic survey in the Atwater Valley area of the deepwater central Gulf of Mexico.
The Francisco survey expands on a previous shoot, and on completion the two will total more than 6,667 sq km of seismic data in the frontier area.
TGS will process the data using a proprietary broadband technique and make final data available to clients in the last quarter of 2014.
