TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Co. will shoot 320 sq km of multiclient 3D seismic survey in the Alberta Central Deep basin southwest of Edmonton.
The Pendryl survey will evaluate multiple zones from Cretaceous to Devonian, including the Cardium, Glauconite, Nordegg, and Pekisko and will expand TGS’' existing coverage in the emerging Duvernay play.
Arcis Seismic Solutions, Calgary, will process the survey, and final data will be available to clients in late first-quarter 2014.
