Schanck to retire from Sonde Resources top posts

Jack Schanck, president and chief executive officer of Sonde Resources Corp., Calgary, has formally notified the board of his intention to retire from Sonde for personal reasons.

Schanck’s retirement is effective on the earlier of June 30, or the appointment of a successor to the two positions. Schanck also will retire as a director but has agreed to stay on as an advisor until Dec. 31 to assist with the transition. The board has formed a search committee to identify a successor.
