Mark Dingley has joined Horn Petroleum Corp. as chief operating officer effective May 1, and also has been appointed president of Africa Oil Ethiopia BV, a subsidiary of Africa Oil Corp. Both firms are based in Vancouver, BC.
Dingley will be based out of Africa Oil's Addis Ababa office. He has 14 years of oil industry experience including 12 years with Talisman Energy Inc. where he served as vice-president, Middle East operations, as well as general manager, Peru; manager, corporate security and surface rick, and manager, government affairs and deputy general manager, Sudan.
Before entering the oil industry, Dingley spent 4 years working in the mining industry in various Africa locations and also served in the British military for 12 years.
