Lukoil is considering development options for Imilorskoye oil field in the Surgutsky district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of Russia.

Its wholly owned Lukoil-West Siberia subsidiary won development rights last December for Imilorskoye and West Imilorskoye fields, which were discovered in 1987, and nearby Istochnoye field, discovered in 1988. Key Lukoil managers held a meeting on Imilorskoye development in Kogalym.

The Imilorskoye-West Imilorskoye-Istochnoye site is near geologically analogous Tevlinsko-Russkinskoye field, which Lukoil is developing.

Lukoil estimates the site has 855.5 million tonnes of geological oil reserves, with 193.7 million tonnes recoverable in the explored and preliminary estimate categories.
