  • 02/01/2013 -- Enbridge gets Michigan approval to replace Line 6B
    Enbridge Energy Partners LP received approval from the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) to construct and operate a replacement to its Line 6B pipeline running between Griffith, Ind., and Marysville, Mich.
  • 01/28/2013 -- Columbia Gas Transmission to spend $1.5 billion on upgrades
    NiSource's Columbia Gas Transmission will spend roughly $1.5 billion over the next 5 years on system upgrades. These expenditures are covered by a customer settlement approved by the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
  • 01/25/2013 -- Inpex awards FLNG FEED for Abadi field off Indonesia
    Inpex Masela Ltd. has awarded competing contracts for frontend engineering and design (FEED) of its floating LNG plant for development of Abadi field off the Tanimbar Islands, Indonesia.
  • 01/22/2013 -- GAIL commissions Dabhol LNG terminal, plans expansions
    GAIL (India) Ltd., Mumbai, earlier this month commissioned the 5-million tonne/year Dabhol LNG terminal at Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, about 210 miles south of Mumbai.
  • 01/17/2013 -- CNPC to build Jiangsu-to-Shanghai gas pipeline
    China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Shenergy Group and Yangkou Port Co. Ltd. to build the Rudong-Haimen-Chongming natural gas pipeline. The 89.5-km pipeline will deliver 2.4 billion cu m/year from Jiangsu province to Chongming Island in Shanghai.

  • 01/17/2013 -- TAQA starts process to restore N. Sea Brent oil line flows
    Abu Dhabi National Energy Co. (TAQA) has begun restoring the flow of an estimated 80,000 b/d of crude oil in the Brent pipeline system following a precautionary pipeline shutdown because of a hydrocarbon release into a platform leg on the Cormorant Alpha platform, which remains shutin.
  • 01/16/2013 -- North Sea Cormorant platform incident shuts down Brent pipeline system
    Abu Dhabi National Energy Co. (TAQA) shut down Cormorant Alpha platform in the northern UK North Sea and the Brent System pipeline infrastructure extending through the platform as a precaution following a hydrocarbon release into one platform leg.
  • 01/15/2013 -- Chevron advances Cabinda-ALNG pipeline
    Cabinda Gulf Oil Co. Ltd., a Chevron Corp. subsidiary, has completed pipe-end measurement of 19,402 20-in. and 22-in. OD joints for its Congo River Crossing Pipeline project.
  • 01/14/2013 -- KMEP to expand Houston Ship Channel storage, docking
    Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP is expanding its Houston Ship Channel liquids storage and docking services. The expansion will include the purchase of 42 acres, building a ship dock to handle ocean-going vessels, and building 1.2 million bbl of liquids storage tanks.
