  • 09/06/2013 -- Gazprom, CNPC sign terms for pipeline natural gas
    Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corp. signed an agreement covering major terms and conditions of supplying natural gas from Russia to China via the eastern route, in accordance with terms previously reached.
  • 09/04/2013 -- Enagas increases stake in Chilean LNG terminal
    Spain’s natural gas system operator Enagas has increased its stake in the Quintero LNG regasification terminal in Chile by buying a second 20% tranche from the BG Group, the company reported.
  • 09/04/2013 -- Hess signs PVR to build Utica gas gathering system
    Hess Corp. has agreed to terms with PVR Partners LP for the latter to build, own, and operate a 45-mile natural gas trunkline and associated gathering pipelines and equipment serving Hess’s lean gas production in the Utica shale in eastern Ohio.
  • 08/29/2013 -- NuStar extends South Texas Crude Oil pipeline open season
    NuStar Energy LP’s affiliate, NuStar Logistics LP, will extend its South Texas Crude Oil pipeline open season to Sept. 30 from Aug. 30.
  • 08/28/2013 -- Genscape: TransCanada’s Gulf Coast Pipeline ‘slightly behind schedule’
    Construction of TransCanada Corp.’s 36-in. OD, 485-mile, Keystone Gulf Coast Pipeline (KGCP) is slightly behind schedule, according to Genscape Inc.’s most recent aerial surveillance of the project Aug. 18.
  • 08/16/2013 -- El Paso moves ahead with Elba Express north-south gas line expansion
    The Elba Express Co. LLC (EEC) and Southern Natural Gas Co. LLC (SNG), both units of Kinder Morgan’s El Paso Pipeline Partners LP, completed successful open seasons for almost 600 MMcfd of incremental, long-term gas transportation supplying the southeast US and the Elba Liquefaction export project.

    TORQ Transloading Inc., Calgary, plans a unit-train terminal in southwestern Saskatchewan able to accommodate rail movement of as much as 168,000 b/d of heavy oil and conventional crude.

    Progress Energy Canada Ltd. has signed firm transportation agreements with TransCanada Corp.’s wholly owned subsidiary Nova Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) for 2 bcfd of natural gas shipments from northeastern British Columbia, underpinning development of NGTL’s North Montney Mainline expansion project.

    China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (Sinopec) has announced the start of construction on an LNG terminal at the southern port of Tieshan, Beihai City, Guangxi Province.
  • 08/01/2013 -- TransCanada approves 1.1 million b/d Energy East crude pipeline
    TransCanada Corp is moving forward with its 1.1 million b/d Energy East Pipeline project based on binding, long-term contracts received from producers and refiners.
