Repsol backs vehicle-recharging terminals

Repsol will participate in the installation of 300 recharging terminals for electric vehicles in Spain.

The operator of the terminals will be IBIL, of which Repsol owns 50%. Basque Energy Entity, which has recharging services in operation in the Basque Country and elsewhere in Spain, owns the rest.

The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Environment has designated the IBIL initiative a “climate project” central to the government’s effort to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.
