White Cliffs completes open season for Colorado-Oklahoma expansion

White Cliffs Pipeline LLC received sufficient binding shipper commitments during its recent open season to move forward with an expansion project for additional crude transportation service from Platteville, Colo., to Cushing, Okla.

Expansion of the 527-mile line will help meet growing demand for midstream services in the Denver Julesburg basin by increasing capacity to 150,000 b/d from 70,000 b/d. Subject to regulatory approvals, the WCPL expansion is anticipated to be in service in first-half 2014.

White Cliffs is owned by subsidiaries of SemGroup Corp., Plains All American Pipeline LP, Western Gas Partners LP, and Noble Energy Inc. SemGroup’s master limited partnership, Rose Rock Midstream LP, will continue operating the pipeline.
