Sechin named president of Rosneft

Igor Sechin, chairman of the board of Rosneft and until recently a first deputy prime minister of Russia with responsibilities including energy, has become president of the state-controlled Russian company.

Igor Sechin, chairman of the board of Rosneft and until recently a first deputy prime minister of Russia with responsibilities including energy, has become president of the state-controlled Russian company.

Sechin succeeds Eduard Khudainatov, who becomes first vice-president and deputy chairman of the management board.
