S-Oil, Seoul, which operates the 580,000 b/d Onsan refinery in Ulsan, South Korea, has named Nasser Al-Mahasher chief executive officer and representative director.
He has been head of Saudi Petroleum Ltd., Tokyo, managing marketing activities for Saudi Aramco, for which he has worked for 22 years.
Al-Mahasher succeeds Ahmed A. Subaey, who served as chief executive officer for 4 years and will return to Aramco.
