    The US Bureau of Land Management’s Vernal, Utah, field office released the final environmental impact statement for Gasco Energy Inc.’s Uinta Basin natural gas project for 30 days beginning Mar. 16.

    A group led by Wintershall has started production from K18-Golf field, the company’s first tight gas field in the Netherlands North Sea.

    Sorgenia International BV, Milan, and Rohol-Aufsuchungs AG, Vienna, will join Porto Energy Corp., The Woodlands, Tex., in joint evaluation of the tight oil potential of the Lower Jurassic (Lias) shale on Porto’s concessions in the Lusitanian basin onshore Portugal.
