• 08/30/2012 -- Statoil leases more than 1,000 railroad cars to carry Bakken crude
  Statoil ASA said it has leased more than 1,000 railroad cars and plans to transport crude oil from the Bakken formation to refineries on the US East Coast and Gulf of Mexico and to Canada. Rail shipments are expected to start during September.

  CJSC Rospan International, a TNK-BP Group company, plans to announce a tender to build a 374-km crude oil pipeline between fields in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region and northern Krasnoyarsk Kray.

  Boardwalk Pipeline Partners LP subsidiary Gulf South Pipeline Co. LP received binding commitments for its proposed Southeast Market Expansion and will move forward with the project.
• 08/20/2012 -- Golden Pass files DOE application to export LNG
  Houston-based Golden Pass Products LLC last week applied to the US Department of Energy to export LNG from the Golden Pass LNG receiving terminal at Sabine Pass, Tex.
• 08/17/2012 -- DNO reconciling Tawke oil accounts with KRG
  DNO International ASA, Oslo, said that the company’s share of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has averaged 40,000 b/d from startup 10 days ago and that the company will continue to deliver these volumes at least through the first week of September as requested by the Kurdistan Regional Government.

  Sunoco Logistics Partners LP has started a binding open season for Project Mariner East to deliver 65,000 b/d of propane and ethane from Marcellus shale areas in western Pennsylvania, including MarkWest Energy Partners LP’s processing and fractionation complex in Houston, Pa., to southeastern Pennsylvania.
• 08/10/2012 -- PTT expanding LPG terminal in Thailand
  PTT of Thailand has retained Foster Wheeler (Thailand) Co. Ltd. as engineering consultant for the first phase expansion of LPG import facilities at its Khao Bo Ya LPG terminal in Chon Buri.
