• 10/18/2012 -- NuStar announces Niobrara shale-to-Texas crude pipeline
  NuStar Energy LP affiliate NuStar Logistics LP launched a binding open season to assess shipper interest in firm priority space on its Niobrara Falls Project transporting crude oil from the Niobrara shale near Platteville and Watkins, Colo., to Wichita Falls, Tex.
• 10/10/2012 -- Shona to supply gas for Colombia LNG project
  Shona Energy Co. Inc., Calgary, said its Geoproduction Oil & Gas Co. of Colombia will supply natural gas from the company’s Esperanza block in Colombia’s Lower Magdalena basin to the planned Altenesol Nataly I LNG project in Cordoba Province.
• 10/09/2012 -- Gazprom to build third, fourth strings of Nord Stream
  Gazprom has decided to build third and fourth strings of the Nord Stream trans-Baltic natural gas pipelines. The company made the announcement at commissioning of Nord Stream’s second string in Portovaya Bay, the Baltic coast of Russia.
• 10/05/2012 -- Partners release Alaska gas pipeline, LNG facilities cost estimate
  The proposed 800-mile natural gas pipeline from Alaska’s North Slope to a planned gas liquefaction plant and export terminal in south-central Alaska would be “a megaproject of unprecedented scale and challenge” costing $45-65 billion, said three ANS producers and TransCanada Corp.

• 10/01/2012 -- PostRock sells gas pipeline to private firm
  PostRock Energy Corp., Oklahoma City, has sold PostRock KPC Pipeline LLC, a 1,120-mile interstate pipeline that carries natural gas from northern Oklahoma and western Kansas to Wichita and Kansas City, to MV Pipelines LLC, a private logistics company based in Wichita.
• 09/27/2012 -- Firms reach deal for first ethane shipment from Marcellus
  Ineos Europe AG, Switzerland, has agreed to ship ethane out of the Marcellus area in western Pennsylvania to Europe through the Sunoco Logistics LP-operated Mariner East pipeline for use in Ineos’s European crackers.
• 09/26/2012 -- AGRI Black Sea LNG project lets feasibility study to Penspen
  AGRI LNG Project Co. SRL, the project company for the AGRI Project, has let a feasibility study to Penspen Ltd. for the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania-Hungary Natural Gas Interconnector Project (AGRI).
• 09/26/2012 -- Chevron confirms a fourth LNG train for Gorgon project
  Chevron Corp. reported that a fourth train will be constructed as part of the Gorgon LNG project on Barrow Island, Western Australia. Geryon field, discovered in 2001, and Chandon field, discovered in 2006, will supply the new 5.2 million tonne/year capacity LNG train.
• 09/25/2012 -- PetroChina Pipeline Co. recognizes need for improved safety
  Yao Wei, president of PetroChina Pipeline Co., noted both China’s pipeline expansion plans and the need for improved safety on its system in addressing the 2012 International Pipeline Conference Sept. 25 in Calgary.
