    Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and oil and gas executive agency BPMigas have approved expansion plans for BP PLC-operated Tangguh LNG in Papua Barat province in eastern Indonesia, according to BP.

  • 11/05/2012 -- Inergy Midstream to acquire COLT oil hub in Bakken formation
    Inergy Midstream LP, Kansas City, agreed to a $425 million purchase of Sugar Land, Tex.-based Rangeland Energy LLC, which owns and operates the COLT open-access crude oil rail terminal, storage, and pipeline complex to handle unconventional Bakken oil production near Epping, ND, in Williams County.

    Russia and Hungary have approved final investment for building the 229-km Hungarian section of the South Steam natural gas pipeline.
  • 11/02/2012 -- Mexico's CFE lets contract to TransCanada for gas pipeline
    Mexico’s federal power company Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) awarded TransCanada Corp. Mexican subsidiary Transportadora de Gas Natural del Noroeste the contract to build, own, and operate the El Encino-to-Topolobampo Pipeline.
  • 11/02/2012 -- EPP's Echo storage terminal begins receiving crude oil
    Enterprise Products Partners LP (EPP) reported that Phase 1 of its Enterprise Crude Houston (Echo) storage terminal in Harris County, Tex., is complete and receiving deliveries of crude oil. The first three tanks total 750,000 bbl.

    BG Group has signed a heads of agreement to sell interests in the Queensland Curtis LNG project in Australia to China National Offshore Oil Corp. for $1.93 billion and the sale of LNG.

    The Bonaparte floating LNG (FLNG) project in the Bonaparte Gulf offshore northern Australia—as proposed by a joint venture of GDF Suez and Santos Ltd.—has received environmental approval from the federal government.
  • 10/30/2012 -- Western Australia moves on southwest gas pipeline
    The Western Australian government has called for tenders to design and construct a major natural gas trunkline to extend from the end of the Dampier-Bunbury line some 350 km southeast to reach Albany in the state’s far south.
  • 10/29/2012 -- TransCanada to build 500-km Northern Alberta crude-diluent system
    TransCanada Corp. has agreed with Phoenix Energy Holdings Ltd. to develop the Grand Rapids Pipeline project in Northern Alberta.
