• 12/05/2012 -- Planned Pacific Northwest LNG plant marks progress
  Petronas Carigali Canada Ltd. and Progress Energy Resources Corp., Calgary, owners of what they have now named Pacific Northwest LNG, said Dec. 4 they have moved the project to pre-FEED following a successful feasibility study.
• 12/03/2012 -- Woodside to buy into Leviathan LNG off Israel
  A joint venture of Noble Energy Mediterranean, Delek Drilling LP, Avner Oil & Gas Exploration LP, and Ratio Oil Exploration LP has reached agreement with Australian company Woodside Petroleum Ltd. on terms under which Woodside can buy into the 349/Rachel and 30/Amit licences offshore Israel that contain the Leviathan gas field.
• 11/29/2012 -- Permits sought for South Texas LNG export
  Pangea LNG (North America) Holdings LLC, Ingleside, Tex., has begun seeking approvals to build an LNG export plant on Corpus Christi Bay in South Texas.
• 11/29/2012 -- Floating liquefaction off Israel moves forward
  Levant LNG Marketing, a unit of Pangea LNG BV, has concluded a cost-sharing agreement with Israel’s Tamar Partners, Tel Aviv, that marks progress toward the export of LNG from Tamar and Dalit fields 60 miles off Israel in the Levantine basin.
• 11/28/2012 -- Petronas unit awards contract for Bintulu reliquefaction
  Malaysia LNG Sdn. Bhd., a production unit of Malaysian national oil and gas company Petronas, has awarded the Linde Group, Munich, a contract to build a midscale LNG plant within the Bintulu LNG complex in Sarawak, East Malaysia.
• 11/27/2012 -- Oneok cancels Bakken Crude Express Pipeline
  Oneok Partners LP reported it will not build its proposed Bakken Crude Express Pipeline, having received insufficient long-term transportation commitments during the project’s open season, concluded Nov. 20.
• 11/27/2012 -- Teak opens Eagle Ford gas gathering, processing capacity
  Teak Midstream LLC has begun operation of more than 250 miles of natural gas gathering and residue delivery pipelines and its adjoining 200 MMcfd Silver Oak cryogenic gas processing plant in South Texas, serving gas producers in the Eagle Ford shale and surrounding area.
• 11/26/2012 -- Sweden to get second LNG terminal
  Skangass AS, Stavanger, has awarded a $57 million engineering, procurement, construction, and installation contract to Linde Group, Munich, to build an LNG import terminal at Lysekil on the west coast of Sweden about 62 miles north of Gothenburg.
• 11/21/2012 -- Tanzania imports first diesel through single-point mooring
  The Tanzanian Ports Authority offloaded the first tanker to deliver through a new offshore single-point mooring (SPM) installed by Leighton Offshore. The vessel offloaded diesel through the SPM in the southeastern portion of the Port of Dar Es Salaam.
• 11/20/2012 -- ASTM sees no added pipeline corrosivity from oil sands crude
  Tests performed by ASTM International have determined that bitumen-derived crude oil is no more corrosive in transmission pipelines than other crudes.
