  • 08/09/2012 -- Shah Deniz partners commit to funding for TAP project
    Shareholders in the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) natural gas project reached an accord with members of the Shah Deniz consortium to secure funding for the project. The agreement also includes an option for the Shah Deniz shareholders to take as much as 50% equity in TAP.

    Pony Express Pipeline LLC, a subsidiary of Kinder Morgan Interstate Gas Transmission LLC, has received sufficient binding shipper commitments during its recent open season to move forward with its Pony Express Oil Project.
  • 08/08/2012 -- PHMSA announces agreement allowing Enbridge to restart pipeline
    Enbridge Energy Partners LP met requirements of a July 31 correction action order and was allowed to restart a crude oil pipeline in Wisconsin following repairs of a July 27 rupture, the US Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration announced.
  • 08/08/2012 -- Tesoro plans to move more Bakken crude by unit train
    Tesoro Corp. plans to move 50,000 b/d of crude oil from the Bakken formation in North Dakota to its 120,000-b/cd refinery in Anacortes, Wash., by yearend, Chief Executive Officer Greg Goff said during a second-quarter earnings conference call.
  • 08/07/2012 -- PAA, EPP form Eagle Ford shale crude pipeline joint venture
    Plains All American Pipeline LP and Enterprise Products Partners LP have formed a 50-50 crude oil pipeline joint venture in South Texas, consolidating portions of previously announced pipeline projects servicing the Eagle Ford shale in South Texas.
  • 08/06/2012 -- GSPL India lets engineering contract for 2,000-km natural gas pipeline
    GSPL India Transco Ltd. (GITL) has awarded an engineering, procurement, and project management contract to Engineers India Ltd (EIL) for the 2,000-km Mallavaram-Bhopal- Bhilwara-Vijaipur natural gas pipeline (MBBVPL) project.
  • 08/06/2012 -- Eni completes sale of Interconnector pipeline shares
    Eni closed its sale to Fluxys SA and Snam SpA of Eni’s 16.41% interest in Interconnector (UK) Ltd., 51% interest in Interconnector Zeebrugge Terminal SCRL, and 10% interest in Huberator SA.
  • 08/03/2012 -- Nexus, Shell, Osaka Gas in Crux field joint venture offshore Australia
    Nexus Energy Ltd. of Melbourne signed consolidation agreements with Shell Development Australia and Osaka Gas Co. Ltd. to participate in a Shell-operated integrated gas and liquids development for the Crux gas-condensate field in the Browse basin offshore Western Australia.
  • 08/03/2012 -- Hammerfest LNG plant production is being restarted gradually
    Statoil said the Hammerfest LNG plant on Melkoya gradually is being returned to full production, and that the restart began in late July and early August following a temporary shutdown because water got into natural gas dryers.
  • 08/03/2012 -- Williams reports up to 800-MMcfd shipper interest in Leidy expansion
    Williams Partners LP has received interest from shippers to expand its existing Transco pipeline Leidy Line in northern Pennsylvania by up to 800 MMcfd by late 2015. The Leidy Line’s current subscribed capacity is 1.7 bcfd.
