William J. Way will join Southwestern Energy Co. effective Oct. 1 as the firm’s chief operating officer overseeing exploration and production.
Way joined BG Group PLC in 2007 as senior vice-president, Americas, with responsibility for E&P, midstream, and LNG operations in the US, Trinidad and Tobago, Chile, Bolivia, Canada, and Argentina as well as BG’s global shipping business.
Way began his career at Conoco Inc. in 1981, and has held a wide range of senior positions in E&P, LNG, midstream, and shipping in the US, UAE, Scotland, and Trinidad and Tobago.
