Nevada: White Pine multipay shale prospect eyed

Underground Energy Corp., Santa Barbara, Calif., said it signed a development agreement that gives it successive rights to shoot 2D and 3D seismic and drill a well to earn 11,554 net acres at 100% working interest in a large prospect in White Pine County, Nev.

Underground Energy Corp., Santa Barbara, Calif., said it signed a development agreement that gives it successive rights to shoot 2D and 3D seismic and drill a well to earn 11,554 net acres at 100% working interest in a large prospect in White Pine County, Nev.

The company said the lands are prospective for hydrocarbons in the Mississippian Chainman shale, Mississippian-Devonian Pilot shale, Devonian Guilmette limestone, and Upper Mississippian Diamond Peak sands.

The agreement is with Titan Energy Resources and Stonegate Resources, both of Park City, Utah.
