HOUSTON, July 19 – PetroQuest Energy Inc., Lafayette, La., has completed six operated Woodford shale horizontal wells in the Arkoma basin of southeastern Oklahoma.
The company has drilled six more operated wells and expects to complete those and drill two more in the third quarter of 2011, when it expects to add a fourth operated rig.
The six completed wells flowed at rates of 2.6-8.9 MMcfd of gas from laterals 4,691-5,558 ft in length. PetroQuest’s working interest in the wells is 17-53%.
