Turkmenistan: Dragon completes Caspian well

Dragon Oil PLC reported a test flow rate of 3,081 b/d of oil from the Dzheitune (Lam) 28-154 development well in the Caspian Sea off Turkmenistan.

HOUSTON, May 13
– Dragon Oil PLC reported a test flow rate of 3,081 b/d of oil from the Dzheitune (Lam) 28-154 development well in the Caspian Sea off Turkmenistan.

The well went to a TD of 1,830 m and was completed as a single producer. Dragon Oil skidded the rig to the next slot and spudded the Lam 28-156 well.

Meanwhile, the company’s other contract rig is drilling the Lam B/155 well, which Dragon Oil expects to place on production towards the end of 2011.
