HOUSTON, Apr. 18 – Israel’s petroleum commissioner plans to award a petroleum exploration license known as the Jordan Valley license to Zion Oil & Gas Inc., Dallas.
The Jordan Valley license is on land within Zion’s expired Issachar-Zebulun permit area. The new tract is east of Zion’s Joseph and Asher-Menashe license areas and south of the Sea of Galilee. It traverses south along the western Jordan River Valley.
