HOUSTON, Apr. 28 -- Chevron Products Co. has awarded a $65 million contract to install base oil production at Chevron’s refinery in Pascagoula, Miss.
Construction includes building a lubes hydrocracker and a lube dewaxing/hydrofinishing unit. Work will begin next month.
Oil & Gas Journal data for yearend 2010 show the refinery’s charge capacity at 330,000 b/d with catalytic hydrocracking capacity of 58,000 b/d.
