HOUSTON, Apr. 22--CAMAC Energy Inc. has appointed current Chairman Kase Lawal as chief executive officer. Lawal has served as non-executive chairman since April 2010.
CEO and Pres. Byron A. Dunn resigned his positions with CAMAC, and Lawal agreed to serve as CEO for no compensation.
Lawal resigned from all executive officer positions with CAMAC International Corp. and its affiliated companies, including Allied Energy PLC, in order to focus on his new role.
CAMAC Energy said Lawal will serve as CEO until a search committee finds another CEO.
