Brazil: OGX finds more Campos basin Albian oil

OGX Petroleo e Gas Participacoes SA, Rio de Janeiro, identified the presence of hydrocarbons in the Albian section of well 1-OGX-33-RJS on the BM-C-41 block in the Campos basin off Brazil.

-- OGX Petroleo e Gas Participacoes SA, Rio de Janeiro, identified the presence of hydrocarbons in the Albian section of well 1-OGX-33-RJS on the BM-C-41 block in the Campos basin off Brazil.

The well, in 127 m of water on the Chimborazo prospect 84 km off Rio de Janeiro, cut a 95-m oil column with 42 m of net pay in Albian carbonates. Total depth is 3,755 m. OGX holds a 100% working interest in this block.
