HOUSTON, Feb. 23 -- PTTEP appointed Ken Fitzpatrick as chief executive officer of PTTEP Australasia, effective in May.
Currently Fitzpatrick is senior vice-president, assurance and controls, at Woodside Petroleum Ltd. During his 6 years with Woodside, he also has held the positions of senior vice-president, drilling/subsea, and general manager, operations.
Other executive positions during his 30-year career in the upstream industry in Australia and China include general manager, Ampolex Australia; producing manager, Mobil Exploration & Producing Australia; and managing director of the Australian affiliate of Nexen Petroleum Inc.
