HOUSTON, Feb. 28 – Quicksilver Resources Inc., Fort Worth, said four of the six horizontal wells it has drilled into the Muskwa and Klua formations in the Horn River basin of Northeast British Columbia are on production.
The company expects to finish drilling two more Muskwa wells before spring break-up begins in late March. The company has also drilled its first horizontal well into the Exshaw formation.
Completion activities on the most recent four Muskwa wells and Exshaw well are to begin this summer.
