HOUSTON, Jan. 25 – Glen Rose Petroleum Corp., Katy, Tex., is producing from 30 reworked wells on 375 acres of its 15,900 leased acres in Wardlaw field, Edwards County, Tex.
The 30 wells produce from the shallow “A” zone. The next objective is to drill as many as 10 delineation wells across the leases to establish additional oil-bearing formations between the “A” zone and 1,500 ft.
A total of 136 wells have been drilled on the property, of which 92 are permitted for production and as many as 48 are being returned to production.
Formerly United Heritage Corp., Glen Rose has five leases totaling 10,500 gross acres in Wardlaw field and 5,400 gross acres in the Adamson Ranch, both in Edwards County. The oil is 18-22° gravity.
The company just completed a $2.1 million preferred stock offering to foreign investors that it will use to continue increasing production.
