    Syria’s authorities blamed saboteurs for the bombing of a major oil pipeline that carries crude westward to the 132,725-b/d refinery at Banyias from oil fields in Deir el-Zour province.

    Qatargas has signed an agreement to supply Petronas LNG Ltd. of Malaysia with 1.5 million tonnes/year (tpy) of LNG for at least 20 years starting in 2013.
  • 07/22/2011 -- Shell brings FLNG expertise to Inpex's Abadi project
    Inpex Corp., acknowledging its need for floating LNG (FLNG) expertise, said it has signed an agreement with a unit of Royal Dutch Shell PLC to transfer a 30% stake on Masela Block in the Arafura Sea off Indonesia (called the Abadi Project; see map, OGJ, Feb. 5, 2001, p. 44).
