• 11/15/2011 -- USI acquires Bossier-Haynesville natural gas gathering
  US Infrastructure Holdings LLC (USI) will acquire the Wildcat Sabine natural gas gathering system in the Bossier-Haynesville shale and expand it to nearby interstate carriers.
• 11/15/2011 -- West Newfoundland onshore light oil deposit cored
  Vulcan Minerals Inc., St. John’s, Newf., said a core hole program has indicated that the Flat Bay shallow light oil deposit underlies an estimated 8-10 sq km in southwestern Newfoundland.
• 11/08/2011 -- EU, Russia launch controversial Nord Stream gas pipeline
  Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev and German Chancellor Angela Merkel inaugurated the 1,200-km Nord Stream natural gas pipeline that will initially supply the European Union with 27.5 billion cu m/year of Siberian gas, and will later provide 10% of the bloc's annual gas needs.

  The initial lengths of the 450-km offshore portion of the planned 700-km natural gas pipeline for ExxonMobil Corp.’s $15 billion Papua New Guinea LNG project have started being laid on the seabed.
• 11/01/2011 -- TransCanada: Nebraska pipeline siting effort likely unconstitutional
  Efforts by Nebraska’s legislature to influence siting of the proposed Keystone XL crude oil pipeline likely would be found unconstitutional, TransCanada Corp., the project’s sponsor, said on Oct. 31 as it release legal memorandums prepared at its request by two law firms.

  Russia’s state-owned OAO Transneft reported commissioning of the 430-km, 500,000 b/d Purpe-Samotlor oil pipeline, boosting the country’s export potential.
• 10/21/2011 -- EPP opens Skelly-Belvieu NGL pipeline open season
  Enterprise Products Partners LP announced a binding open season held by Skelly-Belvieu Pipeline Co. LLC, a joint venture partially owned and operated by an Enterprise affiliate, seeking shipper support for a proposed expansion of the 570-mile, 30,000 b/d Skelly-Belvieu NGL pipeline.
