  • 06/24/2011 -- Lone Star NGL to build 530-mile Permian basin pipeline
    Lone Star NGL LLC, a joint venture of Energy Transfer Partners LP and Regency Energy Partners LP, will build a 530-mile NGL pipeline from Winkler County in West Texas to the Jackson County processing plant in Jackson County, Tex., moving Permian basin production eastward.
  • 06/13/2011 -- DCP Midstream ups Conway-Mont Belvieu NGL capacity
    DCP Midstream will acquire the Seaway Products Pipeline Co. from ConocoPhillips, rename it the Southern Hills Pipeline, and convert it from refined products service to NGL service covering the more than 700 miles between NGL market hubs at Conway, Kan., and Mont Belvieu, Tex.
  • 03/23/2011 -- Midstream JV to spend nearly $2 billion for assets
    Energy Transfer Partners LP and Regency Energy Partners LP, both of Dallas, have formed a joint venture to buy LDH Energy Asset Holdings LLC from Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy LLC for $1.925 billion.
  • 12/30/2011 -- Nebraska DEQ relays Sandhills data to TransCanada
    Nebraska’s Department of Environmental Quality said on Dec. 29 that it has identified areas it considers part of the Sandhills region, and has forwarded the information to TransCanada Corp. as the company selects a new route for its proposed Keystone XL crude oil pipeline across the state.

    Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin expressed thanks to the government of Turkey for granting permission to OAO Gazprom for the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline in Turkish waters of the Black Sea.
  • 12/22/2011 -- Colonial Pipeline to add 100,000 b/d gasoline capacity
    Colonial Pipeline Co. has approved a 100,000 b/d expansion of Colonial’s main gasoline pipeline, originating in Houston and connecting Gulf Coast refineries with markets across Colonial’s system. Colonial will add the capacity to its Line 01 during first-quarter 2013.
  • 12/21/2011 -- Contract let for Kinneil degasification work
    BP Exploration Operating Co. Ltd. has let a contract to a unit of Foster Wheeler AG’s Global Engineering & Construction Group for work related to the debottlenecking of the Forties Pipeline System crude degasification facilities at BP Exploration’s Kinneil Terminal in Scotland.

    The US Bureau of Land Management signed a decision amending the Ruby Pipeline Project’s right-of-way on Dec. 7, BLM’s Reno, Nev., field office announced on Dec. 13.
  • 12/16/2011 -- BLM seeks comments on Kokopelli pipeline's second phase
    The US Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comments on a proposed natural gas pipeline south of Rifle, Colo. Bargath LLC proposed constructing a buried line to gather gas from east of lower Divide Creek and move it to processing facilities in Parachute, BLM’s Silt, Colo., field office said in a Dec. 8 notice.
  • 12/15/2011 -- Senate quickly follows House, passes pipeline safety bill
    The US Senate moved quickly and unanimously approved federal pipeline safety legislation on Dec. 13 that the US House had passed by voice vote the previous day (OGJ Online, Dec. 13, 2011).
