HOUSTON, Dec. 6
-- Qatargas has delivered the first LNG cargo to Dubai via the permanently moored floating storage and regasification vessel Golar Freeze at the Jebel Ali port, according to the regional news outlet Gulf Times.

The Q-flex (210,000 cu m) Al Bahiya LNG carrier, dedicated under long-term contract by Nakilat to Quatargas Train 4, delivered the cargo intended for the local market under contract between Shell and the Dubai Supply Authority. The LNG was produced by Qatargas 2.

In 2008, according to the report, Qatargas, Shell, and DUSUP signed a series of agreements under which LNG would be supplied primarily from Qatargas 4 beginning in 2011.
