HOUSTON, Nov. 4
-- Peregrine Midstream Partners LLC reports an open season for firm services at a proposed high-deliverability, multicycle gas storage facility in Uinta County, Wyo., was strongly oversubscribed.

Ryckman Creek Resources LLC, owned by Peregrine, offered 15 bcf of capacity beginning in April 2012 and received market-priced bids requesting more than 50 bcf of capacity from 25 companies.

Project sponsors hope to have final authorization from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission by April 2011 and be in service a year later. Ryckman plans to raise storage capacity to a total of 35 bcf by spring 2013.

Because of the open season response it is considering a second-phase expansion of up to 50 bcf.

The facility will have connections to five interstate pipelines.
